    The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, written by Mark Twain is one of the books that withstands the time, ages and loved by all people of the globe. It appears to be Timeless Classic. This story portrays the boyish charm of young lad, who finds new friends, set out for various places-while pursuing his school, his boyish love and attitude towards his classmate, Becky Thatcher and his adventures to find Treasure and the rivalry between him and the most wanted criminal of the fictional town Mississippi, Red-Joe .The book was written in 1876. But, This classic is still remembered because every, teenage boy could relate every incidents with his life.
    
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
    This renowned, evergreen classic begins with Aunt Polly scolding Thomas Sawyer for stealing Jam in the cupboard. Every boy could relate all the naughty incidents described in this book with him. He steals jam from the cupboard, fights with his friend and get rolled over in mud, deceits his colleague and whitewashes his fence,hates every Monday and pretends to be ill every Mondays. Tom Sawyer is kind of boy, who goes late to class, average in academics and I am sure that everyboy would admire and cherish his character. First few chapters of the books describes about the immature, charming attitude of the character-Thomas Sawyer and also introduces various characters like strict Aunt Polly, his school colleague Joe Harper, like minded Huckleberry Finn, and his girl-interest-Becky Thatcher.
    With his friend Huckleberry finn, he sets out to graveyard at night and witnesses the murder of Horse Williams. Muff Potter was falsely accused of this crime which was originally committed by Red-Joe in a heated argument. This incident ended up with a rivalry between Red Joe and Tom Sawyer and Red Joe absconded of this incident. This created a nightmare between the boys and haunted them for many days.

    Few ego clashes between him and Becky were discussed in this book.Later,Tom wins Becky’s heart by accepting her mistake, in front of the class to Mr.Dobbins, class tutor. Tom was punished for the mistake he haven’t done. But he felt happy inside for Becky.This made their friendship more stronger. Later, Tom Sawyer and his colleagues -Joe Harper and Huck, also set out for treasure hunt in a an isolated island in their town.They set campfires and they cook their own food from the resources of mother earth, without informing Aunt Polly and Joe’s mom. This greatly saddened Aunt Polly and Joe’s parents and they thought the kids might have possibly drowned in the river. On the funeral function of the kids, the mischievous stunned everyone and made the villagers awestruck by their timely entry in the church.

    Aftermath, Tom and Huck sets out for treasure hunt in various places and they happened to secretly witness Red-Joe again, disguised as Spaniard, in an haunted house, ready to avenge the boys. He also discusses the treasure, unknown of the 2 boys hiding in upstairs and hearing his discussion with is colleague. Now,the boy set out for the treasure of Red Joe. On a particular night, While Tom was having fun in a picnic with his schoolmates, Meanwhile, Huck followed Red-Joe and his colleague for his treasure hunt, he witnesses that Red Joe plans to kill Widow Douglas, a revered lady in the town. He saves the lady by informing a retired armed man, Mr.Jones, who sets out and failed Red-Joe’s plan and again he absconded again.

Meanwhile, Tom and Becky were stuck in a never ending cave in that town and this news spreaded widely across the town. Red Joe sets out to the cave to avenge Tom. Meanwhile, Tom and Becky together tried many ways to find a way out of cave and successfully found a way out. This incident made Tom more popular among the villagers. Later, All the entrances of the cave were blocked by the villagers, unknown of Red Joe stuck inside in it. He was starved to death inside the cave. Later, the boys came to know that the treasure is inside the cave and they sets out for treasure hunt and successful in finding so!

    This is the main plot of the book-The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Mark Twain successfully described and potrayed every characters elaborately. He describes all the boyish traits in the protagonist-Thomas Sawyer, seemed delighted to read for the first time. This book contains all the elements in a literature like naughty, jovial, innocent love and various thrill moments, especially boys within the age of 15 would love this book adamantly. These elements made the book A prefined Classic, standing all ages! This book is the most favourite book and also the first novel which I read in my life at the age of 11, during school days, I would love to read it many times without any hesitation.
